A politician named Dan Sullivan has chimed in on the bonkers Alaska Senate race saga over his namesakes, urging voters to back incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan over his foe, Dan Sullivan.

Former Anchorage Mayor Dan A. Sullivan endorsed the incumbent senator in the extremely aggressive Alaska Senate race forward of the major last Tuesday while noting the head-scratching state of affairs over his identify.

Alaska’s Senate race is extensively seen as one of the most aggressive in the nation, alongside the contests in Michigan, Maine, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, and Ohio.

While Alaska has traditionally been a pink state, former Rep. Mary Peltola (D-Alaska) has been remarkably aggressive in most polls of the race.
