A teen was fatally shot and three other folks struck by gunfire – including a lady delivering slushies – when a Bronx automobile meet-up devolved into chaos over the weekend, authorities and sources said. 

Werling Mendez, 18, was killed by a bullet to the head during the violence-wracked gathering – which was half of a social-media-fueled street-showdown pattern – around 5:40 a.m. Sunday on East 233rd Street close to Boston Road in Eastchester, cops said.

More than 60 shell casings were recovered at the scene, according to the sources.

Mendez, who lived about 3 miles away in Olinville, was rushed to BronxCare Health System, where he succumbed to his accidents, police said Monday. 

A 22-year-old man also was shot in the chest, and two girls – ages 20 and 25 – were each blasted in the foot, according to authorities and sources.

The older lady was delivering slushies for a native enterprise when she was shot, according to law-enforcement sources. 

Those victims were hospitalized in steady situation, police said. 

No arrests had been made by Monday, and no suspect info was obtainable. It also stays unclear who was focused in the capturing.

A 37-year-old lady was also robbed of her mobile phone and a diamond chain during the fracas, the sources said.

She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was in steady situation, according to authorities. 

The violent gathering occurred about 4 months after reckless drivers turned a Queens road into a hazard zone in mid-April.

Footage from that automobile meet-up – at Eliot Avenue and 69th Street alongside the Maspeth-Middle Village border – reveals a brazen motorist apparently waving a Palestinian flag as he burned rubber.

The driver narrowly missed these standing close by while the automobile made donuts around a ring of fireplace in the center of the road.  

Two males also jumped on the hood of a marked division car during the mayhem, cracking its windshield and inflicting other harm, before rushing off in a black Nissan, police said at the time. 

Two folks were arrested in connection to that incident – with both since launched in court docket on non-bail-eligible fees.

At the time, the NYPD said the mayhem won’t cease unless the perpetrators face vital penalties.

“These car meets will not go away unless there are real repercussions in the criminal justice system,” a division rep said in a assertion. “The NYPD will continue to dedicate significant resources to stop these dangerous and reckless events.”
