49ers star linebacker Dre Greenlaw has had a expensive begin to the season.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero broke information on Saturday that Greenlaw has been fined $12,537 for pointless roughness against Falcons star broad receiver Drake London.

Greenlaw tried to punch the ball out of London’s palms during the 49ers’ 29-20 loss to the Falcons last Sunday.
Greenlaw’s punch missed its goal, as he linked with London’s helmet instead.

No penalty was called on Greenlaw during the play, but video replays of the incident confirmed why Greenlaw in the end got in bother.
London left the sport to be evaluated for a concussion after the punch but was in the end cleared and in a position to return.

There is no motive to believe there was any malice behind Greenlaw’s punch, as it just didn’t join where it was meant to.
Greenlaw was fined $11,941 by the NFL for taunting the Broncos’ bench (particularly his former head coach, Sean Payton) earlier in the season.
The star linebacker will absolutely hope to cease giving the league causes to tremendous him once San Francisco returns from its bye week.
