Malik Nabers’ name is coming off the board quickly in Thursday’s NFL Draft, it’s just a matter of where he’ll go. 

The LSU wide receiver is widely expected to be the second – if not the first – ball-catcher to be selected. 

Nabers has the second-best odds (+650) at FanDuel Sportsbook to be the first wide receiver drafted behind Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. (-1200), who has consistently been regarded as one of the top wideout prospects in recent NFL history.

But even if Harrison goes before him, Nabers won’t last long. 

With three quarterbacks likely to go top-three and Harrison looking more and more like the Arizona Cardinals pick at No. 4, Nabers’ market heats up at No. 5, where the Los Angeles Chargers currently hold their first-round selection. 

Nabers is the favorite (+280) to be picked at No. 5, ahead of offensive lineman Joe Alt (+340) and quarterback J.J. McCarthy (+340). 

He is also the favorite to go sixth overall (+175), which happens to be where the New York Giants will make their pick barring a trade, indicating that oddsmakers don’t expect Nabers to fall outside of the top-six. 

The Giants have been rumored to be in the market for a wide receiver in Thursday’s draft and are currently favored (-225) to do just so by DraftKings and BetMGM. 

But some last-minute rumblings on the rumor mill signal that Big Blue might opt to make an upgrade at the quarterback position instead. 

Betting on the NFL?

They jumped to +175 to select a QB on Wednesday, possibly via trade or at pick No. 6.

Although they are a bit further down the draft board, the Jets could also make a trade to get closer to the top five if they want to target a receiver like Nabers or Rome Odunze. 

The Jets are currently +380 to draft a wide receiver in the first round.
