The third sufferer of the lethal Oregon mid-air helicopter crash has been revealed as a British aviation pupil.
Christopher James Joughin, 31, was in the cockpit with flight teacher Maddie Aasbo when their chopper collided with another helicopter Thursday close to the McMinnville Municipal Airport – and then plunged 500 toes to the floor, National Transportation Safety Board officers said Friday.

Joughin’s identification was initially withheld as investigators contacted his household in Zimbabwe.
It’s still not clear what brought about the crash that killed three, or where the pilots were touring — but officers said the airport depends on “self-reporting” by the pilots rather than air site visitors management items.
