Rams rule out Nate Landman vs. Raiders as harm disaster worsens

The Los Angeles Rams can’t appear to catch a break, and now they’re shedding one of the few defensive playmakers who has constantly delivered for them.

Linebacker Nate Landman has formally been dominated out of Sunday’s must-win showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders after struggling a concussion, head coach Sean McVay confirmed Friday.

Trent McDuffie is questionable for Sunday against the Raiders and will not observe at the moment.

Puka Nacua (calf) is also questionable.

“He’s making good progress, though,” McVay said.

That’s encouraging information for Landman, but little comfort for a Rams protection already decimated by accidents.

With defensive deal with Poona Ford lost for the season, Kobie Turner sidelined for a number of weeks and Myles Garrett still recovering, Landman’s absence removes another essential piece from a unit desperately making an attempt to maintain the Rams’ season afloat.

And these aren’t the only accidents the Rams are dealing with.

All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie, who missed last Sunday’s embarrassing 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals with a groin harm, has yet to observe this week. McVay confirmed McDuffie will sit out Friday’s session and is questionable against Las Vegas.

But having not practiced all week does not bode effectively for his probabilities of suiting up.

Meanwhile, star receiver Puka Nacua suffered a calf harm during Thursday’s observe and will also miss Friday’s session. McVay said Nacua, who has already battled a number of accidents this season, is questionable and will be a game-time resolution.

If Nacua can’t go, the Rams will be with out both of their beginning receivers as Davante Adams was identified with a ruptured hamstring and is expected to miss 6-10 weeks after present process surgical procedure.

Suddenly, the Rams could be with out several of their most essential gamers on both sides of the soccer.

At 2-4 and sitting in last place in the NFC West, Los Angeles has already squandered too many alternatives through penalties, particular groups blunders and an lack of ability to end video games.

Now the harm record is threatening to end off their season before it ever gets a probability to get rolling.
