Congrats, Knicks, on elevating the NBA title banner at Madison Square Garden before Tuesday night time’s season opener against LeBron James and the 76ers.

There will be no more speak about the 53-year drought with out a title or questions about which star or coach or normal supervisor might lastly get the Knicks over the hump.

The Knicks adopted their banner-raising ceremony with a 106-100 loss to Philadelphia, as no quantity of pomp or celebrities could overcome poor taking pictures nights from Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby while Tyrese Maxey led the new-look Sixers with 28 factors.

But this is New York, and while one title is good, the honeymoon will last only so lengthy.
