The Ellery, a luxurious residential tower at 312 W. forty third St., signed a tasty tenant. Popular Franklin Park, NJ, Indian restaurant and lounge Samudhra signed a lease for about 10,000 sq. toes, its first location in Manhattan.
The mixed-use constructing was developed by Taconic Partners and National Real Estate Advisors, who needed a main eatery in the venture. Taconi senior vice-president George Tsapelas said, “Our vision has been to create a dynamic mixed-use destination that contributes to the energy of the area, and Samudhra further strengthens the retail and dining mix we’ve curated at the property.”

The landlord was represented by CBRE’s Lon Rubackin, Michael Kadosh, and Bevan Cohen. Samudhra was repped by Brad Schwarz of Lee & Associates.
The restaurant will be on the Ellery’s West forty third Street aspect. The 33-story tower’s taller portion stands above West forty second Street. All 330 items were rented within 11 months, boasts tenants’ facilities that embrace a rooftop pool and health middle. Fast-growing grocery chain ALDI opened its first Midtown retailer there in June
