Gustavo Gordillo’s $1.5 million residence: Letters

Published on

The Issue: Top DSA chief Gustavo Gordillo residing in a $1.5 million Brooklyn residence his dad and mom supplied.

Looking at the profiles of Gustavo Gordillo, Tracy Rosenthal and Cea Weaver, it seems that DSA leaders and supporters have capitalist roots (“Socialism’s champagne campaigner,” Kirsten Fleming, Aug. 20).

Communal residing and authorities subsidies are for the huddled plenty, not the elite. Leaders in socialist nations always dwell effectively.

Wake up, New Yorkers, you’re being scammed!

Robert Mangi

Garden City

Nice irony for someone who is a prime chief of the Democratic Socialists of America: His mommy and daddy purchased him a $1.5 million residence.

Gordillo desires to eradicate non-public property and tax the wealthy. How hypocritical is that? Most DSA leaders are wealthy. Again, how hypocritical!

Nora DiTrapani

Staten Island

I think there’s enough proof to rebrand the title of DSA to: Dumb Scammers Associates. Can we add a “G” in there somewhere to embrace the phrase grifters?

Gordillo rails against capitalism but lives in a $1.5 million Brooklyn residence gifted to him by his dad and mom. Rosenthal refused to pay hire. Weaver calls homeownership a weapon of white supremacy but her household owns a $1.6 million mansion in Tennessee.

Sara Gershon

Syosset

Gustavo Gordillo has the alternative to dwell his anti-homeownership dream by donating his million-dollar residence to a worthy cause and transferring into a tenement group residence.

By the means, the same goes for Sen. Bernie Sanders, who owns a number of houses, totally stocked with the riches that only his despised capitalism brings.

Mel Young

West Dover, Vt.

Gustavo Gordillo is just another spoiled brat who has never actually had a actual job. Since our boy has a two-story home and is a massive proponent of open borders, perhaps he can open his doorways to the unlawful, Kamikaze e-bike drivers that are working down our fellow residents.

Jake McNicholas

Whitestone

Don’t all anti-capitalist dictators dwell a comfy life while mendacity about how they will make life comfy for all?

Not one of these DSA politicians or any other anti-capitalist leaders are in poverty. Not one of them will give away their own cash to “help” these they are manipulating as their political speaking factors.

Susan Cienfuegos

New Rochelle

The Issue: Over a dozen Penn State fraternity members accused of working a cocaine-trafficking ring.

Accused cocaine-dealer Thomas Robinson brings to thoughts Charles Barkley’s remark on Jussie Smollett: “Do not commit crimes with checks. If you’re going to break the law, do not write a check . . . get cash, man!” The same applies to Venmo (“Frat’s not too bright,” Aug. 20).

This is what occurs when schools decrease admission requirements.

Lawrence Bodenstein

Manhattan

Given this lastest felonious scheme at Penn State, Harvard and Columbia’s pro-Hamas college students and most school professors being woke liberals, let’s instantly cancel all federal assist to these doofus incubators.

James Miller

Amherst

The cocaine-trafficking expenses against 14 Penn State college students filed by Pennsylvania’s Attorney General’s Office contain interstate drug trafficking between Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

This raises the query of whether the FBI and DEA brokers labored with state regulation enforcement to examine this drug ring. If so, can we expect federal indictments to be returned as effectively?

Paul Kamenar

Chevy Chase, Md.
