CHICAGO — Sean Manaea performed into the Elvis Night theme here Friday by turning the ballpark into Heartbreak Hotel for the Mets.

The lefty Yan walked Colson Montgomery and then recorded two outs before Rogers cleared the fence in left-center to finish it.

Yan thought he had struck out Montgomery main off the inning on an 0-2 pitch and started his customary celebratory dance. But the pitch was called a ball — marking the second time in his temporary main league profession that Yan was responsible of untimely celebration.

But Manaea appeared shell-shocked after the homer barrage in the sixth.

“I was throwing more sweepers than I was [earlier],” Manaea said. “Ultimately, fastball home runs on two of them, getting them down — I was trying to get them up — but I think earlier in the game I felt like I was doing a better job of getting the ball up.”
