TikTok to pay $400m to US in one of largest little one privateness settlements

TikTok has agreed to pay $400m (£293m) to the US to finish a lawsuit alleging its platform violated kids‘s privateness, marking one of the largest ever settlements over the difficulty.

Meta is also now going through penalties that could exceed a whole lot of billions of {dollars} stemming from COPPA violations alleged by attorneys basic of 29 US states.
